If Michael Bisping sounds like he's giving Yoel Romero a chance to fight him, the No. 1 contender isn't biting.

On Tuesday, eyebrows were raised when it was reported that Bisping might be open to granting Romero a middleweight title shot as opposed to taking a previously announced bout with Georges St-Pierre. According to Bisping, GSP's plans to fight in September conflict with his own desire to compete in July.

Romero has wanted to challenge Bisping for ages, but he took to Twitter to express his skepticism over his rival having any say in the matter:

It looks like Romero expects to keep waiting for that championship opportunity.
