Rousey, Browne announce engagement
Ronda Rousey and Travis Browne are tying the knot.
The UFC mainstays told TMZ they were engaged Thursday, and although they have yet to attach a date to the nuptials, they can probably rule out July, as Browne is expected to face fellow heavyweight Aleksei Oleinik at UFC 213 in Las Vegas.
Rousey and Browne started dating in 2015 after "Hapa" joined her at Glendale Fight Club in California, and made their relationship public in October of that year.
Given the logistics involved in planning a wedding, the announcement will likely dash the Rousey faithful's hopes of seeing her return to the Octagon in the near future. The former women's bantamweight champ returned from a 13-month layoff in December, only to be KO'd in 48 seconds by reigning queen Amanda Nunes.
Between the wedding and a budding career on both the silver and small screens, Rousey's gloves probably won't be coming off the shelf anytime soon.
