Watch: CM Punk involved in heated exchange on MTV's 'The Challenge'

Former WWE Superstar CM Punk found himself in a verbal sparring match with castmate Johnny Bananas on Tuesday's episode of the MTV reality show "The Challenge: Champs vs. Pros."

The exchange started after Punk lost a challenge that involved the contestants covering themselves in plastic wrap and navigating through a barbecue-themed obstacle course. Bananas took exception to Punk's apathetic response to losing and called him out, which prompted Punk to ask what he did for a living.

"I'll tell you what I don't do, I don't go to the UFC and get my ass whopped," Bananas responded. "That's what I don't do."

Punk fired back, but Bananas wasn't done.

"I get it, that's your persona and it's got you nowhere in life, so keep it up dude," he said. "... You couldn't make it in wrestling, you got your ass handed to you in the MMA, and now you're trying to make it at this."
