Matt Clempner brought equal-parts fireworks and technical savvy to Dublin, Ireland on Friday.

After taking Ben Forsyth for a ride with a pair of belly-to-back suplexes, the British light heavyweight worked his way from back control to trap his foe in an inverted triangle choke that left him limp just 1:49 into Round 1 at BAMMA 30.

Clempner improved to 2-0 while displaying chain wrestling and transitional grappling rarely seen in heavier weight classes, while Forsyth woke up from his second straight trip to dreamland with a 2-3 record as a pro.
