Watch: NYSAC official accidentally exposes fighter's junk at weigh-ins
Eryk Anders paid the price for Daniel Cormier's sins.
Back at UFC 210 in Buffalo, Cormier appeared to grab a towel that was held up in front of him as a means of tricking the scale ahead of his light heavyweight championship bout with Anthony "Rumble" Johnson (Cormier later denied any wrongdoing). Whatever the case was, Cormier made weight and he went on to defeat Johnson.
The New York State Athletic Commission has been on high alert ever since. On Friday, Anders needed the towel after stripping down to make the middleweight limit, and when he reached forward to touch it (perhaps to make sure he wasn't showing off more than intended), one of the officials let the towel drop and Anders was briefly exposed.
At the time, Anders seemed more relieved to have beaten the scale than embarrassed about the peep show, but he did have a laugh about the incident on Twitter afterwards:
