McGregor bringing songwriter to Vegas after ukulele hype song goes viral

There's only one Conor McGregor.

"The Notorious" is showing some real appreciation to his fans after one of them - Irish YouTuber Mick Konstantin - wrote and performed a hype song for McGregor with his ukulele this week.

With the song "There's Only One Conor McGregor" getting over 250,000 views in about four days, McGregor caught wind of Konstantin's tribute and decided to award the musician for his efforts.

"It was one hell of a song. It's a very catchy song. We actually reached out to the guy," McGregor told MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani after his open workout on Friday. "I had my people reach out to the guy and we are booking him a flight - him plus one - and we're going to bring him over to the fight and get him tickets, and put him up in a hotel, and then I'll meet him maybe after the fight."

When asked if Konstantin would play some sort of show for the fighter, McGregor shot down the notion of picking up a new entrance song, but hinted that the tune might he heard after the fight.

"We'll probably have him play it," said McGregor. "I don't know if he'll play me out, but I'm going to bring him in as a thank you for the support. ... It's the journey in music form."
