Demian Maia will face off against Colby Covington at UFC Fight Night on Oct. 28 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.
Maia (25-7) is coming off a loss to Tyron Woodley via unanimous decision at UFC 214, squandering an opportunity to capture the UFC Welterweight Championship. Prior to his defeat by Woodley, Maia won seven consecutive fights.
Covington (12-1) recently defeated Dong Hyun Kim at UFC Fight Night in Singapore on June 17.
UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo is highlighted by Derek Brunson squaring off against Lyoto Machida during the main event.
