Till posits striking duel vs. 'Wonderboy' following win over Cerrone
Darren Till has moved on from Mike Perry as quickly as he'd called him out.
Mere days after challenging Perry to throw down following his first-round TKO of Donald Cerrone at UFC Fight Night 118 - and then changing his mind - the surging welterweight has apparently set his sights on a clash of striking styles with Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson:
Just gonna put it out there, but imagine the chess game of striking me and wonderboy would have? 🤔#HighLevelStriking 🦍

The boisterous Till claimed he and Perry were "meant to fight" immediately after beating Cerrone, although he later said Perry's December date with Santiago Ponzinibbio had prompted him to look elsewhere during the postfight presser.
If a Muay Thai vs. karate duel is indeed what he's after, Till will have to bide his time, as Thompson - a two-time challenger to Tyron Woodley's throne - is set to meet Jorge Masvidal on Nov. 4 at UFC 217 in New York City.
