Santos blitzes Hermansson, beats round-ending bell for 3rd straight win
At the sound of the 10-second warning, Thiago Santos got busy.
The middleweight capped a flurry with a blistering left uppercut that dropped Jack Hermansson to the canvas. He then blitzed him with more leather to beat the buzzer for a TKO in the last second of Round 1 in Saturday's bout at UFC Fight Night 119 in Sao Paulo.

Santos has now won three straight, with all but one of his eight Octagon victories coming by way of knockout.
The 33-year-old threw with fight-ending intent early and often, leaving Hermansson no choice but to stand with him after stuffing one of his foe's takedown attempts. Hermansson valiantly weathered a storm of bombs from Santos, and just when he began settling into some semblance of a rhythm on his feet, Santos pressed forward guns blazing and kept swinging until the referee waved it all off for the horn-beating stoppage.
Hermansson suffers the first loss due to strikes of his 20-fight career after dispatching Alex Nicholson and Bradley Scott within a round in back-to-back outings. His UFC record now sits at 3-2.
