Move over, CM Punk.
In a Monday visit to "The MMA Hour," former WWE star Jake Hager - better known as Jack Swagger - announced he'll be moving from the squared circle to the Bellator cage. The 35-year-old will make his cage fighting debut as a heavyweight in 2018.
Hager wrestled at the University of Oklahoma, achieving All-American honors for the 2006 season in a bracket which included former Bellator heavyweight champion Cole Konrad and ex-UFC titleholder Cain Velasquez. He signed with WWE after college and competed for the organization and several of its affiliates for over a decade before parting ways with the company this past March.
His first date and dance partner in four-ounce gloves have not yet been announced.
