Grove vs. Matthews added to Bellator 193

Kendall Grove and AJ Matthews will square off in a middleweight bout on the main card of Bellator 193 on Jan. 26, theScore has learned.

The 34-year-old Grove will look to right the ship after suffering consecutive stoppage losses to Alexander Shlemenko and John Salter at Bellator 162 and 181, respectively. He'll meet Matthews at Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif., with an even promotional record of 4-4.

Matthews, 29, aims to snap a four-fight skid of his own, with three of those losses coming under the Bellator banner. The San Diego native most recently dropped a split decision to Andre Fialho on the same bill as Grove's last outing, and heads into the bout with a 4-5 promotional slate.

In the card's main event, former welterweight title challenger Lorenz Larkin meets Fernando Gonzalez in a 180-pound catchweight bout, with lightweights Saad Awad and JJ Ambrose squaring off in the co-headliner.
