Report: McMann will battle Reneau at UFC Orlando with Evinger hurt

Sara McMann will still fight in Orlando next month, just not against Yana Kunitskaya.

The former women's bantamweight title challenger was initially scheduled to welcome Kunitskaya to the Octagon at UFC on FOX 28 on Feb. 24 at Amway Center, but will now meet Marion Reneau on the bill, MMAjunkie's Steven Marrocco reports.

Reneau had been booked to face Tonya Evinger at UFC Fight Night 126 in Austin six days prior, only for Evinger to announce Tuesday she'd suffered an injury. It remains to be seen whether Kunitskaya will remain on the Orlando card.

McMann, 37, will look to get back in the win column after seeing a three-fight win streak snapped in a second-round tapout to Ketlen Vieira at UFC 215 in September. She makes her 10th walk to the Octagon with a promotional record of 5-4.

Reneau is unbeaten in her last three, with third-round TKOs of Milana Dudieva and Talita Bernardo sandwiching a March majority draw opposite Bethe Correia. Her UFC record sits at 4-2-1.

UFC on FOX 28 is as of yet without a main event.
