Stipe Miocic's rate remains the same, but at least he's making more than his challenger this time.
The reigning heavyweight king pocketed $600,000 for his record-breaking third title defense against Francis Ngannou at UFC 220 in Boston earlier this month, according to records MMAjunkie obtained from the Massachusetts State Athletic Commission on Tuesday. The challenger took a cool half-million, easily the biggest payday of his still-budding career.
Light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier also made $500K for his second-round TKO of Volkan Oezdemir, who pocketed $350K in his first bid for UFC gold.
