Former light heavyweight UFC champion Jon Jones has been fined $205,000 and will have his MMA license revoked by the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC), according to MMA Fighting.
Jones tested positive for the steroid Turinabol in a non-competition drug test in relation to his fight against Daniel Cormier at UFC 214 in July 2017.
Jones can't reapply for his license until he's served his still-pending discipline from the US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), according to Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting. A date for the hearing has not yet been set.
The 30-year-old faces a four-year suspension from USADA as a second-time offender.
He served a one-year suspension for a failed drug test in 2016.
