It appears Invicta FC will crown a new bantamweight champion for the second time in under a year in two months' time.

Sarah Kaufman and Katharina Lehner will clash for the crown Yana Kunitskaya recently vacated on May 4 at a yet-to-be-disclosed venue. The latter teased the matchup last month on Twitter, with Kaufman confirming it Friday on Instagram.

The 32-year-old Kaufman - a UFC and Strikeforce alum - returned to the all-female outfit in January, making it known she was aiming to rejoin the UFC within the next 18 months, and picked up her second straight victory in a one-sided verdict over Pannie Kianzad at Invicta FC 27.

Lehner joined Invicta with a perfect 5-0 record and scored her first career stoppage victory with a first-round TKO of Alexa Conners in an August promotional debut. She's since improved her pro slate to 7-0 with a December decision over Gemma Pike on the German circuit.

Invicta FC has yet to formally announce the matchup.
