Report: Dillashaw to defend title in rematch vs. Garbrandt at UFC 227

T.J. Dillashaw is set to defend his UFC bantamweight title in a rematch against Cody Garbrandt at UFC 227 in Los Angeles on Aug. 4, sources told ESPN's Brett Okamoto.

Dillashaw won the belt off Garbrandt last November and has yet to defend it since.

Garbrandt, too, hasn't stepped into the Octagon since the November 2017 clash, which was the first loss of his career.

Dillashaw was targeting a superfight against flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson, but the bout couldn't come to fruition due to Johnson's shoulder injury.
