McGregor involved in fracas at UFC 223 media day

Conor McGregor is not on the card for UFC 223 in Brooklyn on Saturday but that hasn't stopped him from getting involved in the festivities.

Multiple fighters captured footage of McGregor and his camp invading media day on Thursday, leading to a fracas at the Barclays Center.

UFC president Dana White confirmed to MMA Junkie that the Irishman and his posse threw chairs and dollies through the window of a van carrying several fighters competing on the bill and their camps.

Lightweight Michael Chiesa, who is scheduled to fight Anthony Pettis on the main card, suffered lacerations to his head and face during the incident. The severity of the injury is not yet known.

Lightweight title contender Khabib Nurmagomedov and his camp are believed to be the target of McGregor's ire. Nurmagomedov appeared to be involved in an incident with McGregor's teammate - UFC featherweight Artem Lobov - this week.

Helwani reports there is a video of McGregor telling a someone to get out of the van. In the video above, Nurmagomedov is seen restraining his manager Ali Abdelaziz before Chiesa suffers the laceration caused by the smashing of the window. The ruckus was eventually broken up by security and most of the fighters who attended the event have since departed the venue.

Footage of McGregor's camp storming through the Barclays Center, and later running to a waiting SUV has already emerged.

White has since told reporters the NYPD has issued a warrant for McGregor's arrest and Lobov has been yanked from his fight with Alex Caceres.
