Muhammad vs. Price, Arce vs. Daniel Teymur added to UFC Utica
Another two matchups have been added to UFC Fight Night 131.
Belal Muhammad and Niko Price will clash in a welterweight tilt, with featherweights Julio Arce and Daniel Teymur meeting on June 1 at Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, N.Y., the UFC announced, via the Utica Observer-Dispatch on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old Muhammad heads to upstate New York on a three-fight win streak, the latest coming by split decision at Tim Means' expense this past November at UFC Fight Night 121. Price, 28, has won three of four in the Octagon (a February 2017 no-contest notwithstanding), most recently scoring a second-round submission of George Sullivan at UFC on FOX 27 in January.
After getting his hand raised on Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series last summer, Arce made his promotional debut at UFC 220, where he picked up a lopsided decision over Dan Ige that extended his winning streak to six. Teymur, meanwhile, moves down from 155 pounds following a July unanimous decision loss to Danny Henry at UFC Fight Night 113.
Bantamweights Jimmie Rivera and Marlon Moraes will meet in the bill's main event.
