Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson dropped more hints at a potential foray into mixed martial arts over the weekend.

Days after challenging Quinton "Rampage" Jackson to a fight, the rapper sat cageside at Bellator 199 with the promotion's president, Scott Coker, on Saturday night.

Jackson first sparked rumors of a potential deal with Bellator after tweeting a photo of himself meeting with Coker earlier this month.

When asked by MMA Junkie's Simon Samano after Bellator 199 if there might be an announcement coming soon about Jackson, Coker joked, "Yeah, he's got a new album dropping in about six weeks."

Coker then explained their first meeting: "He wanted to talk about MMA. And there were some pictures taken, people speculate. I don't know where he said he was going to fight a three-fight deal - I don't even think he said it. I think somebody else started that rumor: 'He's going to fight, he's going to fight a three-fight deal, then he's going to fight 'Rampage.'

"It's like, look, he loves MMA. And when a big star like that loves MMA and wants to be involved ... it just makes a lot of sense. And he wanted to come. He wanted to check it out. This was his first time to a Bellator fight."

Coker also said Jackson plans on attending Bellator 200 on May 25, adding, "He's a friend of the family. We'll see where it goes."
