Cyborg to face Nunes at UFC 232
By the end of 2018, we'll finally know who is the most feared woman on the planet.
UFC women's featherweight champion Cris Cyborg will take on bantamweight queen Amanda Nunes at UFC 232 on Dec. 29 in Las Vegas, UFC president Dana White told ESPN's Brett Okamoto.
The long-awaited bout will be for Cyborg's 145-pound title.
Nunes has been sidelined with a foot injury, pushing the fight back until the last card of 2018, despite Cyborg's public calls for it to happen sooner.
Cyborg has won five fights, four by TKO, since joining the promotion. She most recently defended her title in comfortable fashion against Yana Kunitskaya in March.
Meanwhile, Nunes is riding a seven-fight win streak. The Brazilian defeated Raquel Pennington in March, defending her title for the third time since winning the belt in July 2016.
