Chris Pratt corners Adel Altamimi in Bellator debut
Bellator featherweight Adel Altamimi had a famous friend walk him to the cage for his promotional debut.
Actor Chris Pratt served as one of Altamimi's cornermen for his fight against Brandon McMahan at Saturday's Bellator 214 event in Inglewood, Calif. Altamimi defeated McMahan via first-round armbar submission.

Altamimi, a former convoy driver contracted by the U.S. Marines in Iraq, formed a friendship with Pratt after meeting him at Jay Glazer's Unbreakable Performance Center in Los Angeles.
"I told him, if we had 80 percent of people like you, Chris, there's no war," Altamimi told Marc Raimondi of MMA Fighting. "Nobody gonna kill anyone. There's not gonna be any war. So humble. This guy, his forgiveness. It's just - man! And he saw the same thing in me. You know those guys, they don't trust, they don't believe in anyone easy. I'm a person that's not even from here. I can hardly speak his language. But this guy sees something different in me and I see something different in him, too."
