B.J. Penn suffers UFC-record 7th straight loss

Hall of Famer B.J. Penn suffered a UFC-record seventh consecutive defeat Saturday, falling via unanimous decision to Clay Guida during the UFC 237 prelims.
Penn hasn't won a fight in over eight years, recording his last victory Nov. 20, 2010. He now has has more losses (13) in the UFC than he has wins (12).

Penn got off to a decent start against Guida but was outmatched in the second and third rounds. The judges scored the bout 29-28, 29-28, 29-27 in favor of Guida.
The 40-year-old Penn was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2015. The former lightweight and welterweight champion was regarded at the time as one of the greatest pound-for-pound combatants in mixed martial arts history.
