Light heavyweight Ilir Latifi has been forced to withdraw from his co-main event fight against Volkan Oezdemir on Saturday due to a back injury, UFC officials announced.
There will not be a replacement matchup for the Stockholm card and the event will proceed with 12 bouts. The 35-year-old Swede suffered injuries last year that forced him out of scheduled matchups against Ovince Saint Preux and Glover Teixeira.
Latifi was looking to bounce back following a decision loss to Corey Anderson at UFC 232 in December. Meanwhile, Oezdemir is coming off three straight losses.
