UFC women's flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko brutally knocked out Jessica Eye with a devastating kick to the head in the second round to retain her title at UFC 238 on Saturday.
Eye appeared to instantly lose consciousness and was down for several moments before being helped to her feet by her corner.

Shevchenko dominated the opening round, landing several big kicks before taking Eye to the mat. She locked up an Americana in the round's dying seconds but wasn't able to force the submission before the bell saved Eye.
