Dana White: 'Jon Jones will be fighting again'
UFC president Dana White made his first public comments on Jon Jones since the light heavyweight champion was charged with battery after an incident at a New Mexico strip club in April.
Jones is facing a misdemeanor battery charge after he was accused of smacking a cocktail waitress in her genital area and putting her in a chokehold.
White spoke on the matter and Jones' future in the UFC at the UFC 240 post-fight press conference on Saturday night.
"I don't want to get into that whole thing but I can tell you this, I saw some videos: Jon Jones will be fighting again," he said.
"Sad. Sad that something like that would happen to him. It's hard to give Jon Jones the benefit of the doubt, until you see the videos. I think Jon Jones is going to be fine."
White said it's a possibility Jones fights in November at Madison Square Garden in New York.
