Zhang caught the on-rushing Andrade with a right, mixed in some heavy knee shots, and finally felled the Brazilian before the referee called for a stoppage.
The victory marks Zhang's 20th straight after she lost her pro debut in 2013.
"My name is Zhang Weili. I'm from China. Remember me!" she said postfight.
Andrade (20-7) entered the fight as a -160 favorite. The loss snapped a four-fight winning streak. The Brazilian was unable to defend her title after taking it from Rose Namajunas at UFC 237 in May.
