Former UFC featherweight title challenger Brian Ortega will fight "The Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung in the main event of UFC Busan in South Korea on Dec. 21, the promotion announced on Monday.

Ortega is currently the UFC's second-ranked featherweight, while Jung sits in sixth.

With featherweight champion Max Holloway set to defend his title against No. 1 contender Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 245 in December, the winner of the UFC Busan headliner could be in line to be the first 145-lb challenger of 2020.

In June, Jung (15-5) bounced back from a stunning last-second knockout loss to Yair Rodriguez, dispatching Renato Moicano in just 58 seconds.

Meanwhile, Ortega (14-1) hasn't fought since his defeat to Holloway at UFC 231 in December, his first career loss.

Ortega told theScore's James Lynch in August that he's ready to "get down" with Jung after the 32-year-old called him out.

"I'm dying to get (back in there). ... I'm excited to show the world my new improvements and let 'em see the 2.0 version of me," he said.
