UFC heavyweight Junior dos Santos has reportedly been hospitalized for more than a week with a serious bacterial infection in his leg, sources told MMA Fighting's Guilherme Cruz.
The veteran was scheduled to headline the Nov. 9 card in Moscow, Russia, against Alexander Volkov but was forced to withdraw.
"Cigano" was looking to rebound from a first-round TKO loss to Francis Ngannou in June. He's currently ranked fourth in the division with a 21-6 record.
Volkov, 30-7, had a six-fight winning streak snapped by Derrick Lewis last October and hasn't fought since.
