Sergio Pettis has agreed to terms with Bellator on a multi-fight contract, sources told ESPN's Ariel Helwani.
The former UFC contender's debut reportedly isn't set as of now, but he's expected to compete in Bellator's bantamweight division.
Pettis, the younger brother of former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, competed in both the 125- and 135-pound divisions in the UFC. However, Bellator doesn't have a male flyweight division.
The 26-year-old was apparently booked to fight Kai Kara-France at UFC 245 on Dec. 14, only for the UFC to recently discover that Pettis' contract had expired.
Pettis went 9-5 in the UFC. He most recently beat Tyson Nam in September via unanimous decision, ending a two-fight losing streak.
