Hardy has been unsuccessful in his last two fights.
A bout with Ben Sosoli in October was ruled a no-contest after Hardy used an inhaler between rounds. The 265-pounder then stepped up in class to meet Alexander Volkov in November and lost by unanimous decision.
Prior to those fights, the only blemish on Hardy's record was a disqualification due to an illegal knee in a clash with Allen Crowder last January. Hardy now carries a 5-2 career record.
De Castro earned a first-round TKO victory in Dana White's Contender Series in June, and he won his first UFC bout against Justin Tafa in October. He's 6-0 in his career.
