McGregor denies sexual assault allegations: 'Time will show all'
On Monday, Conor McGregor denied the multiple sexual assault allegations against him.
The former UFC two-division champion is reportedly under investigation in Ireland for two separate incidents.
"Time will show all," McGregor told "Ariel Helwani's MMA Show."
"Right now, I am focused on the (upcoming) bout, focused (on) positivity, good thoughts, and I will say a prayer for those who try and curse me or try and bring harm to me with these types of things."
The alleged incidents reportedly took place in December 2018 and October 2019. McGregor has not been charged with a crime.
He'll return to the Octagon against Donald Cerrone in the UFC 246 main event on Saturday night in Las Vegas. "The Notorious" has been out of action since October 2018, when he was submitted by lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229.
Since then, McGregor has been at the forefront of several other legal troubles. The Irishman pleaded guilty to assault after punching a man at a Dublin bar last April.
The fighter also allegedly slapped a phone out of a person's hand and stomped on it outside a Miami Beach hotel last March, but charges were dropped.
McGregor hasn't won a fight since November 2016, when he finished Eddie Alvarez for the 155-pound belt.
