Jedrzejczyk suffers massive hematoma at UFC 248

By the end of Joanna Jedrzejczyk's strawweight title fight against Zhang Weili at UFC 248, it looked like an alien was trying to escape her head.
The former champion, who lost to Zhang by split decision in a bout that will likely go down as one of the best ever, suffered serious swelling on her forehead in the later rounds of the fight.

Jedrzejczyk was taken to the hospital after the defeat and released early Sunday morning, according to ESPN's Ariel Helwani.

Zhang defended her 115-pound belt for the first time with the victory and extended her winning streak to 21. Jedrzejczyk is 1-2 in her past three bouts.
