Colby Covington thinks there's a good chance he'll be standing across from Tyron Woodley in the Octagon on Saturday.

Covington is willing to fight Woodley on short notice at the UFC's March 21 event, he told theScore on Monday. The card was originally scheduled for London, England, but UFC president Dana White announced it will be moving, likely to the United States, due to travel restrictions, forcing Leon Edwards out of the main event.

"I love my chances," Covington said when asked to gauge his odds of getting the Woodley bout. "I stay prepared, so if the chance comes my way, I'm gonna jump at that, and I'm gonna do it for the people."

Covington, a former interim welterweight champion, said he thinks the fight would be a "slam dunk" if it happens.

"I've been begging to fight Tyron Woodley for three, four years now," Covington said. "This is a pre-packaged fight and a long-standing rivalry. It used to be settled, and the UFC dropped the ball before with it. But here's the perfect time to take the ball and let me run it into the end zone."

Covington didn't say if he's been offered the fight, and, if so, whether he's agreed to clash with Woodley. Rafael dos Anjos is also willing to take the bout, sources told ESPN's Ariel Helwani on Sunday.

"Chaos" said the promotion is currently working on finding a location for the event.

"I might have to call Donald Trump soon, because I'm ready to do this fight on the White House lawn," Covington said.

The 32-year-old said he can easily beat Woodley, a former welterweight titleholder.

"I've offered up to fight Tyron Woodley on six days' notice, because I'm that confident that he's a jobber and I can beat him up from pillar to post in front of no audience, live in front of the world on ESPN," Covington said. "It wouldn't be a problem. It'd be easy money for me."

"(Woodley) will quit inside of that Octagon," he continued. "He's got no heart. I'll expose that no heart. He's not that good of a fighter. He's at the end of his career, and he's washed up. It wouldn't even be a competitive fight."
