White: Location for Khabib-Ferguson fight '99.9%' set

UFC president Dana White is almost certain he's secured a venue to house the UFC 249 pay-per-view event featuring a long-anticipated lightweight title fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson.

"Trust me, Khabib has been telling me every day, 'Send location.' I have it. It's 99.9%. On April 18, we are having this fight," White said to ESPN's Brett Okamoto.

Fans will not be allowed at the event, White told Yahoo Sports' Kevin Iole.

The fight was originally scheduled to be held in Brooklyn, New York, but restrictions due to the coronavirus nixed those plans. White said he won't disclose the new location of the bout until it's official, but he expects the show to go on.

"Full card," he said. "We're going to face some problems, I'm sure. There are always problems with every card we put on, and with this situation, you expect there will be more, but we will still find a way to promote these fights. We always f------ do."
