UFC 251, which was scheduled to be held June 7 in Perth, Australia, has been postponed due to current state and national restrictions, the promotion said in an announcement Monday.
The UFC announced in early April that all events were postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, with sports considered an essential service in Florida, the promotion is holding events on May 9, 13, and 16. Nothing beyond May 16 has been scheduled.
Valentina Shevchenko was originally booked to defend her women's flyweight title against Joanne Calderwood at UFC 251, but bowed out in late March because of a leg injury.
