Khabib reacts to Gaethje's 'impressive' win over Ferguson
UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov was impressed by Justin Gaethje's interim-title win over Tony Ferguson on Saturday night.
Shortly after Gaethje finished Ferguson in the fifth round of the UFC 249 main event in Jacksonville, Nurmagomedov reacted on Twitter to the upset.

Nurmagomedov was scheduled to fight Ferguson at UFC 249 on April 18 but was forced out of the contest due to travel restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic.
Gaethje stepped up on short notice to face Ferguson for the interim belt in the new headliner, which was later postponed to Saturday.
Nurmagomedov observes Ramadan, which is running from April 23 to May 23 this year. He usually doesn't compete during the summer months, but earlier this week he opened the door for a potential return as early as July.
Following UFC 249, Nurmagomedov and Gaethje are expected to unify the two titles later in 2020.
