Former heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos and Jairzinho Rozenstruik have agreed to fight at UFC 252 on Aug. 15, sources told MMA Fighting's Guilherme Cruz and Damon Martin.

Dos Santos is coming off back-to-back knockout losses to top contenders Curtis Blaydes and Francis Ngannou. The 36-year-old's latest victory came against Derrick Lewis via second-round TKO in March 2019.

Rozenstruik suffered his first professional loss in his last bout at UFC 249 in May; he was finished by Ngannou in 20 seconds. "Bigi Boy" made his Octagon debut early last year and picked up four straight wins. Rozenstruik ended his 2019 campaign with a come-from-behind victory over former title challenger Alistair Overeem to become a top contender in the division.

A trilogy bout between heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic and former titleholder Daniel Cormier will serve as the UFC 252 main event. The card is reportedly expected to take place in the United States, but an exact location has not yet been confirmed.
