Report: Till-Hermansson to headline UFC's Dec. 5 card
The UFC has booked Darren Till versus Jack Hermansson to headline its Dec. 5 card, reports ESPN's Brett Okamoto.
The fight is pending the result of Till's recovery from a left knee injury suffered in his last fight against Robert Whittaker on July 26.
Till suffered a torn MCL in the unanimous decision loss and has now lost three of his last four fights. The lone victory was a split decision victory over Kelvin Gastelum in November.
The 27-year-old now owns a 16-3-1 record and has slipped to sixth in the UFC's middleweight rankings.
Hermansson is trending in the opposite direction. He's been victorious in five of his last six bouts, including submitting Gastelum 78 seconds into their fight on July 18. He's now 21-5 and ranked fourth in the division.
