Tony Ferguson is calling for the UFC to pay up.
The lightweight contender was in talks to face Dustin Poirier at UFC 254 on Oct. 24, but the bout fizzled last week, with Poirier dropping out after failing to come to terms with the promotion.
Poirier approves of Ferguson's plea to salvage the fight.
UFC president Dana White said this past weekend that the Ferguson-Poirier clash isn't salvageable, and "El Cucuy" will face someone else, likely still at UFC 254 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Ferguson, a former interim lightweight champion, is coming off a fifth-round TKO loss to Justin Gaethje at UFC 249 in May.
