McGregor, DC among fighters to honor Khabib after retirement announcement
Khabib Nurmagomedov stunned the sports world by announcing his retirement following a dominant win over Justin Gaethje at UFC 254.
The undisputed lightweight champion - who said he won't fight again after recently losing his father and coach, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov - walks away from the game with a perfect 29-0 record and a place among the all-time MMA greats.
Rival Conor McGregor, teammate Daniel Cormier, and former opponent Dustin Poirier were among the fighters to congratulate Nurmagomedov on his legendary career:
Good performance @TeamKhabib.
