Look: Jones shows off heavyweight physique
Jon Jones appears to be making serious progress in the gym.
The former UFC light heavyweight champion took to Instagram on Wednesday to show off his latest physique as he prepares for a move up to the heavyweight division.
Jones implied that he currently weighs 250 pounds, which is likely far heavier than what he walked around at when he competed in the 205-pound weight class.
"It feels good to not be depriving myself of food anymore," Jones wrote. "Can't fit any of my suits, but I'm moving well."
As a longtime light heavyweight champion, Jones talked about possibly competing at heavyweight for years. He didn't commit to the move until last August, when he vacated his title.
Jones has yet to schedule his divisional debut, but UFC president Dana White has said he could face the winner of a title bout between champion Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou, which is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2021.
