UFC announces Poirier-McGregor 3 will be full-capacity event
UFC president Dana White confirmed Wednesday that Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor will face off for the third time, with their latest fight slated for the UFC 264 main event on July 10.
The event is set to take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, which will be at full capacity. It will be the first card held at T-Mobile Arena since UFC 248 during the first week of March 2020.

McGregor signed his bout agreement earlier Wednesday, he told ESPN's Ariel Helwani. Poirier signed on for the trilogy fight in early April.
"The Mac is back in Sin City!" McGregor said. "Full house!"
Poirier-McGregor 3 has been in the works for months, but McGregor threatened to call it off earlier this week after engaging in a fiery exchange with Poirier on social media. Poirier revealed Sunday that McGregor didn't follow through on his promise to donate $500,000 to Poirier's charity, The Good Fight Foundation, earlier in 2021.
The lightweights have met twice before, most recently during UFC 257 in January. Poirier won the rematch via a stunning second-round TKO. Previously, McGregor took a featherweight bout in 2014 with a first-round knockout.
