Man punched by McGregor not bothered by UFC star barring him from pub
A man punched by Conor McGregor at a Dublin pub says he has no intention of returning to the establishment after it was purchased by the UFC star.
McGregor punched the man, 50-year-old Dubliner Desmond Keogh, at the Marble Arch Pub in April 2019 after he refused a free shot of his Proper Twelve whiskey. McGregor later plead guilty to assault and was fined $1,117 for the incident.
After reports emerged last week that McGregor was set to purchase the Marble Arch, he tweeted that Keogh would be barred.

Keough isn't sweating the ban, though.
"I'm not really concerned because I probably wouldn't be going back to it now. I wouldn't be going back anyway, probably, especially now," Keough told Paul Healy of the Irish Mirror. "I wouldn't want to be spending money in his pub, to be honest."
Keough added that while he felt McGregor could've received a bigger fine, he has put the incident behind him.
"The past is in the past. It's all done and dusted two years ago this month," he said. "He had to go to court and he pleaded guilty."
