Nate Diaz to UFC: 'Stop playing,' book Dustin Poirier fight
Warning: Story contains coarse language
Nate Diaz just wants to fight.
On Wednesday, Diaz sent a message to the UFC on Twitter, telling it to book him in a matchup with Dustin Poirier and to "quit slowing down the real fight game."
He assured the promotion that he'd officially agree to the bout.

Poirier quickly backed Diaz's push to make the bout happen, tweeting out a mock-up fight poster.

Poirier and Diaz have gone back and forth on Twitter several times since December with the intent of fighting each other.
"The Diamond" said earlier in January that he'd agreed to a short-notice bout against Diaz, but it was later reported that plans to square off at an upcoming event were abandoned.
Diaz, one of the UFC's most popular fighters, has one fight left on his current contract.
