Nurmagomedov, widely considered one of the most dominant fighters of all time, retired from mixed martial arts in October 2020 following his third lightweight title defense.
The 33-year-old never lost in the sport, walking away with a 29-0 professional record.
Nurmagomedov, who now trains fighters such as UFC lightweight contender Islam Makhachev and cousin Umar Nurmagomedov, defeated the likes of Conor McGregor, Justin Gaethje, and Dustin Poirier during his legendary Octagon tenure.
