The UFC is moving the women's flyweight bout between Miesha Tate and Lauren Murphy to UFC 276 on July 2, sources told MMA reporter Ariel Helwani.

The promotion originally scheduled the matchup for a Fight Night card on May 14. The reason for the delay is unclear.

Tate is set to make her 125-pound debut after a lengthy career as a bantamweight. The former UFC champion is coming off a loss to Ketlen Vieira in November and is 1-1 since her return to mixed martial arts. She retired in 2016 and announced she was coming back in March 2021.

Murphy challenged Valentina Shevchenko for the women's flyweight title in her last bout, falling short by fourth-round TKO at UFC 266 in September. "Lucky" was riding a five-fight winning streak heading into her first shot at UFC gold.

There are no other matchups booked for the pay-per-view event, which will take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
