Saturday's UFC event is down a matchup.

Nina Nunes has been removed from her women's flyweight bout against Cynthia Calvillo due to illness, the promotion announced. The fight was scheduled for the main card.

The fight has been rescheduled for UFC San Diego on Aug. 13.

"Unfortunately, I picked up a stomach virus and have been sick since right after weigh-ins," Nunes wrote in an Instagram post. "I tried as much as I could to make this better and still be able to fight. Sadly, it has taken a tear on my body, and I won't be able to perform tonight."

As a result of the postponement, the bantamweight tilt between Aiemann Zahabi and Ricky Turcios has moved up to the main card from the preliminary portion of the event.

Nunes, who has competed once since having a baby with UFC women's featherweight champion Amanda Nunes, was set to make her 125-pound debut after losing two in a row at strawweight. Meanwhile, Calvillo is riding a three-fight skid and was gunning for her first victory since June 2020.

UFC Fight Night will proceed with 11 bouts at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, including the lightweight main event between former champ Rafael dos Anjos and Rafael Fiziev.
