Michael "Venom" Page delivered one of the nastiest injuries ever seen in an MMA fight Friday night.

The Bellator star appeared to crush Goiti Yamauchi's kneecap with his first strike of the welterweight fight - a kick to Yamauchi's right leg - winning by knockout in just 26 seconds at Bellator 292.

After the fight, Page wished Yamauchi a speedy recovery and said it was hard to celebrate the victory. It was his 11th knockout win in Bellator, the most in promotion history.

The Englishman was returning to the Bellator cage following a one-fight stint in Bare Knuckle FC. He lost to former UFC fighter Mike Perry by decision last August.

With the win over Yamauchi, Page bounced back in MMA after losing to Logan Storley in an interim welterweight title bout last May. He called for a title shot against undisputed champion Yaroslav Amosov, who dominated Storley in a title unification bout in late February.
