Michael "Venom" Page emerged victorious in his highly anticipated UFC debut - and he'll be a ranked welterweight next week.

The former Bellator star defeated Kevin Holland via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) in a 170-pound bout at UFC 299 on Saturday night at Kaseya Center in Miami.

Page dominated Holland in the third round to seal the victory following a competitive first two rounds. He used his karate stand-up style to outwork Holland and land punches at a distance.

Holland dragged Page to the mat in the second round, and he briefly attempted a rear-naked choke and landed a few ground-and-pound shots. However, Page stood up and continued to pick Holland apart on the feet.

With the victory, Page is now 1-0 in the UFC after signing with the promotion in late 2023. The 36-year-old Englishman became a free agent last year following a decade-long career as one of the most popular competitors in Bellator. Page has won two straight and is 22-2 as a professional.

Holland, who entered as the No. 13-ranked welterweight, is riding a two-fight losing streak.
