A potential strawweight title eliminator between Tatiana Suarez and Virna Jandiroba is in the works for UFC 310 on Dec. 7 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, sources told MMA Junkie's Nolan King and Farah Hannoun.

Suarez and Jandiroba have reportedly verbally agreed to the matchup, though contracts haven't yet been signed.

Ranked No. 1 in the 115-pound division, Suarez is coming off a submission win over former champion Jessica Andrade in August 2023. Suarez has seven wins in the UFC and is undefeated as a pro at 10-0.

The 33-year-old spent nearly four years on the sidelines from 2019-23 due to various injuries and health issues. She made her long-awaited return to the Octagon in February last year, submitting Montana De La Rosa.

Jandiroba climbed to No. 3 in the division with an armbar victory against Amanda Lemos in a UFC Fight Night main event in July. The Brazilian is riding a four-fight winning streak and is 2-0 this year.

The fight between Suarez and Jandiroba could determine strawweight champion Zhang Weili's next opponent, as Zhang has beaten the other three fighters in the top five.

Suarez-Jandiroba is just the second addition to UFC 310, the final pay-per-view event of the year. Also set for the card is a light heavyweight tilt between Anthony Smith and Dominick Reyes.
